The world needs to be aware that the "new" St Maarten government has been quietly shutting down, and shutting up local radio, online and tv personalities, who might not be in synch with their plans for St Maarten.
Locals will be able to tell you that radio programs which were considered anti UP/DP have been taken off of the air. The local shills, who kiss the St Maarten's governments ass, is allowed to thrive.
What's going on here, is what first happened in Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
Indepence, corrupt government officials, and censorship, then what next? Genocide? Are you going to "wack" the people you don't agree with UP/DP St Maarten government?
WAKE UP ST MAARTEN, we are being silenced by a government who is afraid to let the world know what's really going on in St Maarten.

The St Maarten government has also disallowed anyone to use the word "St Maarten" on Facebook. Another form of censorship. Which means that you would not be able to set up a fan sites named e.g.:
BORN IN ST MAARTEN AND PROUD. Even if you were born in St Maarten and proud. The government so far has been to stupid to take advantage of the internet media, so why shouldn't locals?
The government is resorting to illegal methods such as trying to hack bloggers to shut down their accounts or take them over.
Is the Netherlands listening?

IS ST MAARTEN HEADED FOR DISASTER?

St Maarten has finally attained its long sought after independence from Curacao.
One of the main reasons St Maarten  want to leave the umbrella, is because most St Maarteners
feel that Curacao was stealing all of the Antillian money. If you were to speak to a Curacaoleneon now, their argument would be the opposite of that.
So now St Maarten is independent, so the government can rob the locals themselves, after all isn't that what independence is about?
The Dutch are threatening intervention, and they have a right-wing loony bin Geert Wilders as their leader.
I hope when the Dutch DO show up looking for their money, they head straight to the government building and parliament.
